About Me
Welcome to Hannah Jo Photography. My name is Hannah Jo. I am a Twin Cities based photographer, softball coach, chai tea addict and lover of cream cheese wontons!
I believe that the moments captured in sessions, whether engagement, family shoots, children's birthday parties or studio shoots should spark joy within you every time they are seen. Candid photography is my favorite. After you've been on a shoot with me you will receive photos of expressions that you didn't even know were there! I capture moments that you never knew you wanted captured until you see the final photo!
My interest in photography was sparked from my Papa's love of photography and grew about 15 years ago when I was on my first missions trip to Costa Rica. My projects since then have included a wide variety of shoots. Weddings, families, couples, children's birthday parties, family reunions, gym and studio openings, work with non profit organizations and even bereavement photography !
I've had my photos used to promote anti-human trafficking initiatives through A21 Campaign. Recently, Hannah Jo Photography has been featured on the jumbotron in Times Square in New York City. This was in partnership with Spoonful Apparel representing National Women's Month!
I am also an affiliate photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
When I am not busy shooting and editing pictures, I love spending time with my friends in and around the Twin Cities. I also coach fastpitch softball and volunteer at my local church. I also love exploring new places to find inspiration for my work.
